Tyreek Hill has revealed that Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel criticized him after the team’s playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year.

The 30-year-old receiver had five catches for 62 yards and a touchdown in Miami’s 26-7 loss in January, but apparently didn’t do enough, according to his head coach, as he faced McDaniel’s wrath after then-cornerback the Chiefs, L. ‘Jarius Sneed threw him to the ground on a play.

Recalling McDaniel’s anger back then, Hill said on Tuesday’s episode of the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ podcast: “The move against Sneed.” The Chiefs, everyone sees this play against the Chiefs. When the son of a bitch knocked me to the ground? He called me.

He told me, “Reek, bro, you’re supposed to be the best player in the damn league, and you’ve got this guy putting his hands on you like that.”

”We pay them all this money for what?”’

Now, nearly three months after the Dolphins’ elimination from the NFL playoffs, Hill vowed to work on his overall game this offseason, while McDaniel’s criticism lingers in his head.

‘I love things like that. I’m going to listen to that shit and I’ll get better. That will never happen again in my life, man. Do you feel Me?’ Hill continued.

‘If a motherfucker can’t hold me accountable, I feel like I’m going to get better, you know what I’m saying?’ Obviously, the coach can overlook that, you know what I’m saying, and just say, “Oh, he’ll get better with that.”

“But if he doesn’t say anything, like the other guys in the locker room, they’ll look at it like, ‘Oh, if Reek can do it, I can do it.'” And that won’t make the team better. “Hill added.

Another top wide receiver could join the Dolphins before the fall to lessen Hill’s workload, as Odell Beckham Jr. ‘visited’ the team’s facility last month, according to multiple reports.

However, Beckham Jr. has yet to sign a contract with Miami, despite registered interest. The 31-year-old wide receiver is currently a free agent following his departure from the Baltimore Ravens.

Hill is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with a social media influencer for allegedly breaking his leg after he allegedly attacked her during a “frisky” soccer game at his Miami mansion.
