Disturbing photographs show the gruesome scene where a young mother’s body was discovered in a wheelie bin on an isolated road.

The body of Chaithanya ‘Swetha’ Madhagani, 30, was found stuffed into a green rubbish bin on Mount Pollock Road in Buckley, west of Geelong, at 12noon on Saturday.

The container spent much of Saturday in sweltering heat before homicide detectives arrived late in the afternoon.

Photos from the scene show the container half hidden behind a bush with a large white blanket folded next to it.

The mother of one was found by the police and sources familiar with her said that her son’s father, Ashok Raj Varikuppala, recently left the country for India with his son.

Varikuppala, who has not been charged with any offence, has been in contact with relatives in Victoria and will co-operate with police in their investigation.

Police have established two crime scenes, one on Mount Pollock Road and another 82 kilometers away at a residential address at Mirka Wat in Point Cook, Melbourne.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the two scenes are related to Madhagani’s death.

Eric Lewis, who owns the land on both sides of where the body was found, said I had never seen a wheelie bin lying there, despite walking past it frequently.

Another local recalled walking through the area on Friday and noticed a pungent smell that he assumed was that of a dead sheep.

Friends have since described Madhagani as “a perfect woman and a perfect mother” who lived for her young son.

Madhagani used to cook and share food and would invite people to her home, her friends said.

A neighbor told Herald of the sun that Mrs. Madhagani was “one of the sweetest girls who ever lived.”

‘Everyone would want to have Swetha in their lives. She was full of life; I can’t believe she’s gone.

“A life is lost, it is worse that it was found somewhere else, we all deserve dignity.”

Another neighbor said he was “in disbelief” at the news and that his son had attended a birthday party for the couple’s son.

I had known the family for three years,

“They are a very good and nice family, I have never seen them argue,” he said.
