A neighborhood was left up in arms after a woman was caught defecating in a stranger’s backyard.
The middle-aged woman, nicknamed ‘Krapping Karen’, was caught with her pants down by an angry Sydney homeowner.
Frustrated after discovering faeces in his garden, the owner installed CCTV cameras.
They posted a notice on a tree outside their house with a photo and a message addressed to the ghost party pooper.
‘ATTENTION MADAM?!’ the notice said.
‘Please stop pooping in my backyard! My grandchildren play there! It’s disgusting! This is not the first time! I have cameras everywhere thanks to you! So please stop!’
Another concerned resident shared the notice on Reddit.
“Quite a strange sign on a tree,” the caption read.

“She’s a runner,” one wrote.
“This is very common, you wake up first thing in the morning, put on your shoes and go for a run halfway, nature calls you and you stop to make a strategy and then you continue on your way again.”
‘I honestly understand it as a one-time thing, but more than that, you have to look at yourself and think ‘really?’ wrote a second.
‘What’s wrong with people?! Oh really!’ added another.
Or at least think about bringing bags of dog poop. It’s not that they are expensive. Heck, some parks give them away!’ a fourth wrote.
Another claimed she was a “close friend of the Paddington poop runner”.
This was in reference to the infamous ‘Paddington Pooper’ case of 2019.
PR expert Roxy Jacenko shared shocking CCTV footage on Instagram of a woman defecating outside her Sweaty Betty PR office on Watson Street in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The message left by a Marrickville homeowner on a fence outside his garage to prevent a mystery person from pooping on his property.
He uploaded videos of the woman running behind a car, dropping her pants and relieving herself on two separate occasions.
“It’s disgusting, it’s a lovely street full of historic terraces, children playing and riding bikes,” Ms Jacenko later told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Human feces should not be on any street. Something needs to be done.’
In 2020, a jogger was caught on CCTV footage defecating in a sidewalk community garden, just 50 meters from a public toilet in the inner-city Melbourne suburb of Albert Park.
There was another case in Marrickville, in Sydney’s inner west, the same year, in which a note was posted on a fence: The note read: “Dear Mysterious Human Poo-er, We have installed this fence and a camera to deliver it to you to the police.”
‘We understand Covid is hard for everyone, but please stop messing around in our garage.
“Also make sure you chew your food better and whatever is making it sticky, I’ll check it out.”
In New South Wales, defecating in public is covered by the Summary Offenses (Offensive Behaviour) Act.
A criminal violation notice may be issued which carries a fine of $500.
Depending on the circumstances, the police could also file charges against the offender.
A New South Wales police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that they “will not be making any statements about the ghost party poopers.”
