Jenny Powell revealed her nightmare Moroccan vacation in an Instagram post on Monday, claiming it happened

Jenny Powell revealed her nightmare holiday to Morocco in an Instagram post on Monday, claiming she spent “five and a half hours” stuck at the airport.

The Wheel Of Fortune star, 56, had enjoyed a winter holiday with her mother, 92, and daughters Constance, 22, and Pollyanna, 14.

But her return journey was anything but easy, with the TV personality taking to social media to explain how her easyJet flight had been canceled after a long delay.

Jenny told her followers around 10pm local time: ‘Well, you know me, I’m the most patient person, very calm. But I’m in Agadier and I should have left, my flight should have left, about four hours ago and there is absolutely no information from easyJet here at Agadier airport.

‘That’s not good. There are people with small children, my mother is 92 years old, nothing. Not a bottle of water, no information, nothing, how amazing is that?

And we have all realized that the flight has been canceled just by looking at the runway. Come on, where are you easyJet? Not happy. I’m really not happy.

“The least you can do with your passengers is tell them what’s happening.”

An hour later, Jenny posted another update showing her with her mother and some friends.

“Well, now it’s a shit show, we’re all waiting,” he said. ‘Isn’t that a sample of Louise? An absolute shit show.

‘We’ve been here for five and a half hours, hopefully we’ll be on the news. We are now waiting for some officials to stamp our passports so we can leave the airport.

‘So we have to try to find our suitcases and apparently there’s a bus and apparently there are hotels, but we’re going to take a taxi. It’s a proper shit show, it’s interesting, isn’t it? Mom’s fine, look. She’s not happy.’

In a final post, just before the group left the airport, Jenny added: “So absolutely nothing from easyJet. As far as I’m concerned there’s no one here at Agadier airport.

“There are people who work here at the airport, but no one from easyJet, there are no advertisements, there is no guidance whatsoever and now we are all queuing to try to leave the airport. And it’s all rumours, absolutely horrible.

There have been no drinks or anything. So apparently everyone will get on a bus and apparently everyone will find a hotel room somewhere. I’m pretty stunned, we’re giddy and we’re laughing but I won’t be. But easyJet, what the hell?

On Tuesday morning, Jenny revealed in another Instagram post that the ordeal wasn’t over.

‘The saga continues but look, Myra (her mother) is still smiling. We are still in Agadier, the flight was cancelled. I’m not happy with easyJet, I’m still waiting for an apology to everyone on the flight.

‘So I think it was around half past 12 when we got back to Agadier (to a hotel). The sun is coming out and we are going to try again to get back to the UK, but everyone keeps messaging us to tell us not to bother because the weather is so bad. Breakfast and so on.

His last update came in a taxi heading to the airport to give him another chance to return home.

“We just received a message from easyJet saying: ‘the plane is a little smaller than we had planned, so if anyone wants to volunteer to take another flight, we will give them €450.’

‘Now I’m going to the airport, actually there are four of us. So if you don’t have much to do today and want a little drama, stick with us. What should we call this? Dramas in Agadier? Thank you easyJet.’

MailOnline has contacted EasyJet for comment.

Jenny had been enjoying the winter sun and her mother looked very young on her Instagram on Monday as she sunbathed by the pool in a sheer white collarless shirt over a floral print swimsuit.

In another snap shared by Jenny, she was seen relaxing on the outdoor couch, while wearing a white crew-neck sweatshirt and black-rimmed rectangular glasses.

Jenny captioned her post: ‘3 generation journey! Nanny, Connie, Polly and me.

‘And at 92 years old, my mother is living proof of good genes, a resilient South African heritage and that staying mobile and having a youthful attitude towards life makes all the difference… Simply put, at 92 years old!!

‘And thank you @olivia_travelcounsellors for taking 3 generations away on a little trip to the sun!’

In a poolside Instagram story, Jenny’s mother said: “(The holiday) was very relaxing, very friendly people, very polite.” It suited me well, it wasn’t overwhelming. It was perfect for someone my age.

The Wheel of Fortune star could be seen wearing a turquoise vest, letting her long dark locks loose and opting for a radiant makeup palette to accentuate her beauty.

Jenny, who is engaged to her fiancé Martin Lowe, has two children from her previous relationship with Toby Baxendale, a British businessman.

Jenny underwent a hysterectomy last year to relieve severe menopause symptoms, which she has been incredibly open about.

Reflecting on her recovery and sharing images of her scars healing last year, she warned other women to “take the healing process seriously.”

The presenter took to social media to post several snaps from her relaxing winter holiday in Morocco with her daughters Constance, 22 (pictured) and Pollyanna, 14.

She wrote: ‘What a month, four weeks after my robotic hysterectomy and good healing. I have really been overwhelmed by the response to my posts and updates.

‘I’m planning an event and building a community here, but also keeping in touch with as many of you as I can. So, just saying, healing and slowing down to do so is hard work in itself.

‘I have found it very difficult to ignore the tasks of everyday life at work, at home and at play. So take the healing process seriously or it will bite you in the butt later.

‘Make sure you have a plan in place and get the right advice post-op about your hormones/HRT/self-care and accept help when you get it… (thanks mom, my daughters and everyone at work!), more to come as we are on the road to recovery…we’ve got this!!’

What is a hysterectomy?

A hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to remove a woman’s uterus.

There are three types:

  • PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMY: Eliminates two thirds of the uterus.
  • TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY: Eliminates the uterus and cervix.
  • RADICAL HYSTERECTOMY: Eliminates uterus, cervix and ovaries.

The operation is most often performed on women between 40 and 49 years old.

More than 20 million American women have had a hysterectomy, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As women approach menopause, their chances of developing one of several serious uterine health conditions increase. Doctors may recommend a hysterectomy as a treatment for:

  • fibroids
  • endometriosis
  • uterine (endometrial) cancer
  • chronic uterine pain or bleeding
  • collapsed uterus

In some cases, doctors may suggest a hysterectomy as a preventative measure if a woman has significant warnings or early signs of developing one or more of these conditions.

When necessary, surgeons can also remove the ovaries and fallopian tubes, if these too have been damaged or are at serious risk of damage.

Removal of the reproductive organs sends a woman’s body into menopause, no matter how old she is.

This leads to unpleasant side effects, such as hot flashes, and many women have to start hormone therapy and take estrogen to balance their own hormones.
