A major Australian fashion brand that made dresses worn by superstars including Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa has gone into administration.

Australian clothing franchise and apparel brand Dion Lee has filed for insolvency after a partnership deal collapsed.

Antony Resnick, liquidator of insolvency firm dVT Group, was appointed administrator of all Australian Dion Lee stores on Thursday.

dVT Group is also in the process of considering investors who may be interested in providing financial capital for the company.

It is understood that the company will continue to operate until Resnick can restructure it while ensuring its debt obligations are met.

The fashion brand is believed to have gone into administration after a partnership deal fell through.

Major clothing brand Cue Clothing Co has reportedly ended its partnership deal with Dion Lee and also canceled its investment in the business, according to The Australian.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Dion Lee for comment.
