Derby hero Serpentine added to Aidan O’Brien’s team for Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe on Sunday

Aidan O’Brien-trained Derby winner Serpentine was added to the line-up for the Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe on Sunday after an additional entry fee of € 72,000 was paid.
Serpentine was a surprise winner of the Derby at Epsom in July as she did all the running and built an untouchable lead.
He’s only ridden once since he was fourth to steal Mogul at the Grand Prix de Paris in Longchamp earlier this month, when he was ridden with a lot more restraint.

He comes up with a five-man challenge for O’Brien – alongside stable mates Love, Magical, Mogul and Sovereign – with 16 more entries in the race.
The final declaration and jockey bookings will be made on Thursday.
