Deb Caballero has revealed that she was deceived by a ticket scam for Taylor SwiftTour of Eras.
Just days before the superstar’s Eras Tour arrives in Australia, the veteran TV presenter revealed how she handed over $1200 to secure tickets for her daughter.
“A really good friend, who I’ve known my whole life, contacted me and said, ‘Do you still want Taylor Swift tickets?'” Knight told A Current Affair.
‘It was my daughter’s eighth birthday and getting these tickets would be the best gift of my life.
“My friend put me in touch with her friend who had the tickets, or so I thought,” she continued.

Deb went on to reveal that she received a phone call from a friend who told her that her cousin was selling tickets.
But, much to everyone’s ignorance, his friend’s Facebook account had been hacked.
Knight promised to pay half the cost as bail and then pay the rest after seeing the tickets, which she said looked “incredibly legitimate.”
But there was a problem.
“The difference is that a genuine Taylor Swift bill in an Apple Wallet right now doesn’t have that barcode,” said tech expert Trevor Long.
Alarm bells started ringing when the supposed seller said the payment had not been made, but by then it was too late.

Although Knight contacted his bank immediately, there was nothing he could do: he was $1,200 lighter and didn’t have any Taylor Swift tickets.
‘I realized I had been scammed. I felt sick to my stomach, absolutely humiliated. I also felt ashamed and ashamed,” she said.
‘I was reluctant to speak publicly about this, but I think we have to do it.
‘We have to normalize it so that people feel there is less stigma about it.
“It happens to everyone, even Deb Knight. It’s disgusting what’s happening, so something needs to be done.”
Swift will perform three concerts in Melbourne from February 16 to 18 and four in Sydney from February 23 to 26.
