Dave Portnoy Issued Scorching Response After His Zach Bryan Track Was Deleted

Dave Portnoy issued a blistering response to Warner Music after the record label’s latest attempt to block his track on Zach Bryan.

The Barstool Sports boss took aim at the country music artist on Wednesday when he released a scathing song about Bryan following the singer’s messy breakup with Portnoy’s podcast co-host Brianna Chickenfry.

Brianna, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, had been romantically involved with Bryan from the summer of 2023 until last month, when he blindsided her by revealing their breakup on Instagram.

Portnoy backed up LaPaglia after the split, releasing the song ‘Smallest Man’ with Barstool personality Josh Richards, which ripped Bryan over his hairline, height, an arrest in 2023, as well as accusations of infidelity and illnesses from sexual transmission.

However, Warner Music, Bryan’s record label, responded and removed the video from all platforms over copyright issues.

Portnoy has now revealed a new twist in the growing dispute, explaining that the song was removed because Richards is also signed to the label and essentially “owns it.”

But Portnoy insisted that wouldn’t stop the war of words and vowed to return for a new attack from the booth, even hinting that Brianna might join him.

‘Well, do you think that’s it? Do you think we’re just going to leave out the ‘Smallest Man’? I’ll write 10,000 distortion tracks,” Portnoy said shirtless in a video shared with X. “I’ll go die in the booth. I’ll put on my headphones and come back spitting bars twice as hot.

“Maybe we’ll do ‘Dave’s version.’ I heard Bri might come in the booth and do her version.” We’ll figure this shit out. (It may) take 24 hours, but Warner Music Group is acting more like little whores and Zach Bryan is acting more like little whores.

‘…. The more they worry about this shit, the worse it’s going to get. You are in the mud. You have me angry. I’m going to have to get into the cabin. I thought it was going to be one and done. I don’t mind. I’ll keep spitting.

Portnoy’s attacks on the diss track included the accusation that Bryan’s “whole band” hates him and the claim that Bryan has a problem with alcohol.

LaPaglia posted a tearful video about the split last month, saying she was “shocked.”

There was a verse about Bryan’s arrest in 2023 for allegedly interfering with a traffic stop. Portnoy and Richards not only shamed the singer for being detained, but also included embarrassing police-recorded audio of Bryan’s arrest.

Bryan and LaPaglia began dating in the summer of 2023, but called it quits in October, and the Barstool host revealed she was ‘shocked’ by the 28-year-old country music star’s announcement.

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Bryan has been struggling to cope with the ’emotional roller coaster’ he has been on since his mother Annette died in 2016.

Brianna said she was “shocked” when she addressed their split in an emotional video message to fans minutes after Zach announced the news in a lengthy Instagram statement.
