Daryl Braithwaite sang along to Harry Styles’ rendition of his famous song The Horses at his concert in Melbourne on Saturday night.

The Australian singer, 74, attended the concert of the Grammy winner, who performed his iconic song for concertgoers.

Daryl was dressed simply in a white T-shirt as he stumbled into the Marvel Stadium gig.

He smiled and laughed as the audience danced along to the British hitmaker’s rendition.

Daryl shared his excitement on Facebook on Sunday, writing: ‘What an extraordinary night it was at Harry’s performance. I just love the feeling of these huge concerts as they take on a life of their own.’

He continued, “Harry Styles is so good at what he does and they loved him. I was completely overwhelmed by the night. Thank you to Harry and his army.’

Harry has certainly won over Australian fans on his Love On Tour.

During his set at HBF Park in Perth on Monday, the tattooed star impressed the crowd by doing a ‘shoey’ – a party trick that involves drinking a can of beer from a shoe.

It is common for fans at concerts to shout ‘shoo-ey! shoo-ey!’ hoping that the artist will agree to participate in the tradition.

“This is one of the most disgusting traditions I’ve ever seen,” said Harry before taking a drink from his $1,170 Adidas x Gucci shoe.

Since the start of his ‘Love On Tour’, he has worn different colored versions of the shoe at almost every performance.

‘I feel like a different person. I’m ashamed of myself,” he said post-shoey.

“It feels so personal. Such an intimate moment to share with so many people. I will discuss this at length with my therapist.”

He will perform on the Gold Coast on February 28. His last shows in Australia will be in Sydney on March 3 and 4.

After that, Styles is expected to perform at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on March 7 – the same night as the New Zealand census.
