The former glamor model, 37, spoke candidly about the Ladies of Liverpool podcast on Thursday, she said it was “no fun going through,” but claimed she was lucky because her mom Jackie helped her get the support she needed.
Danielle reflected on being in the spotlight from a young age, saying, ‘There’s a dark side to being out in the open and it’s not great.

‘I’ve had anxiety all my life, and people are always grabbing me and you’re just being pulled from pillar to post.
‘It was just this false life, I was really suffering from fear and people didn’t know that. When I went to the camera I put on this happy face and people would think everything was fine.
“But when I got home, I would cry myself to sleep because of the trolls, otherwise I wouldn’t understand why I went to an event and that person didn’t speak to me.”
Fair: Danielle thought about having a life in the spotlight from an early age and said: ‘There’s a dark side to being out in the open’ (pictured on Loose Women last June)
She continued: ‘Pathetic little things you don’t care about when you get older, you know what I’m saying?
‘But they always influenced me, and I drank a lot, I got involved in alcohol and drugs.
‘It got so bad that I thought about ending my life and luckily I picked up the phone and was able to talk to my mom, and they gave me the help I needed.
‘So I think it’s so important to talk about things like this. It wasn’t fun in my life to keep going, but I have that platform to say it’s okay not to be okay. ‘

“Yes, but I have three more children to take to school and feed !!!” she replied. “I have depression and anxiety, but I have to be strong for it !!!”
She said The Sun on Sundays at the time: “Some are really mean, call me ** g and all kinds of swear words.”
“I suffer from panic attacks and now only go out when I have to, because I’m afraid someone will recognize me and try.”
After her interview, a representative for Danielle told MailOnline, “It took a lot of courage from Danielle to open up about her anxiety.
“She is grateful for all the support she has received on social media, and of course from friends and family.”
