Crystal Palace has also held talks with QPR about winger Eberechi Eze.
Palace had rejected a bid of around £ 12m last month as QPR valued the 22-year-old at £ 20m.
West Ham, who have discussed the possibility of using striker Jordan Hugill as makeweight in a deal, Newcastle United and Leeds United have also expressed interest.

Eze, who started his career at QPR, enjoyed a fantastic season in 2019-2020, scoring 14 goals in the championship.
Manager Mark Warburton will be desperate to hold onto Eze, who finished just one goal behind teammates Hugill and Nahki Wells in the scorers list.
