Country singer Jake Flint, 37, dies in sleep hours after his wedding

Oklahoma singer-songwriter Jake Flint was killed in his sleep shortly after his wedding. Now, his new bride is brokenhearted and devastated. 

On Saturday night, the 37-year old musician died. The cause of the death is still unknown. 

Flint and Brenda exchanged wedding vows on Saturday night at a remote homestead near Tulsa.

However, hours later, the groom tragically passed away in his sleep. The Oklahoman reported.  

On Tuesday, the heartbroken bride wrote: “We should be going through wedding photographs but instead I have pick clothes to bury him in. Brenda stated that people are not meant to feel so much pain. 

“My heart is broken, and I really need him to return.” I don’t need any more. He is my only hope.

The heartbroken bride wrote on Tuesday: “We should be looking through wedding photos, but instead I have got to choose clothes to bury my husband.” Brenda stated that people are not meant to feel so much pain. “My heart is broken and I need him to return. I don’t need any more. I need him here.

 Oklahoma’s music community was shocked and grieving Monday when word of his sudden and unexpected death spread.

The news outlet reported that Flint’s long-time publicist Clif Donohue confirmed the news about the singer’s passing.

Brenda Cline Flint’s manager, posted the news of Flint’s death on social media.

 Cline wrote that Jake Flint had tragically died, expressing deep sorrow and a brokenhearted heart. “I tried many times today to create a post. But you can’t comment about what you don’t understand.”

Flint'S Manager Brenda Cline Was Overcome With Grief And Shock As She Delivered The Heartbreaking News Sunday Night In A Social Media Post

Flint’s manager Brenda Cline was filled with shock and grief as she announced the devastating news via social media on Sunday night. 

Even though it rained on their wedding date, it did not dampen their spirits. The couple said their ‘I dos’ in front all their friends.

The Oklahoman heard from Mike Hosty of Norman, who was a one-man band that played at the wedding. “It was rainy, but the renter had rented a 40-by-60 circus tent. … They put up a bunch of carpets over the mud and then got two pieces of three-and-a-quarter-inch plywood and set it on the ground — and that was my stage. Jake asks, “Is that going to be okay for you?” Jake says, “Is it all right?” I respond, “Jake, that’s great!” A piece of plywood, or a flatbed caravan is where I shine. 

He She said that she still has the mud from her van, but it was a fun wedding. It’s a terrible tragedy.

Flint was born in 1985. He was the son of a wildcat oilman, and a hardworking mother of two.

According to Jake’s bio, he was transplanted from Texas to Tulsa in Oklahoma. Jake claims that he was the ‘outcast country boy’ in the city.

Jake’s father, a music lover, raised Jake on John Denver, James Taylor, and Dire Straits, as well as other Texas singer/songwriters like Guy Clark, Townes van Zandt and Steve Earle. 

Jake, a city boy, was not as comfortable fitting in so he joined his older sister and received plenty of 90s rock from Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Foo Fighters. 

He Also, he was exposed to Dave Matthews Bands, John Mayer and Guster as well as David Grey and any other sounds coming from his room.
