The budget clothing giant released an Aussie Rules range of casual wear with the names of the teams on it.

But Cotton On advertised and sold track pants that read ‘Port Adealide’ after not noticing the embarrassing spelling blunder.

It wasn’t long before the internet picked up the error.

Meme page S ** t Adelaide posted pictures of the embarrassing fleece track pants to their 290,000 followers.

“Cotton On is offering this bargain on Port Adealide track pants,” the caption read.

Social media users quickly called the fashion retailer for the mistake.

“Honestly, how does this happen ?!” a social media user wrote.

Other Aussie Rules fans used the blunder as an opportunity to sled the Port Adelaide football club.

“They would certainly just give the crows away right now,” said another.

All teams ‘Afl Womens Old School Track Pant’ retails for $ 30, after a discount of $ 49.99.
