At just 26 and without much political experience, except for the occasional gimmick designed to drive people like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the attempt by conservative personality Laura Loomer to establish a four-year American congress is gaining momentum to win.
She understands, Loomer said in an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV, why her attempt to become the youngest congressman in history was originally dismissed as the longest of all recordings.
After all, she runs in Florida’s District 21, a district overwhelmingly inclined towards the Democratic Party with a heavily Jewish population despite the fact that it is home to Mar-a-Lago, the residence of President Donald Trump away from the White House.
Laura Loomer is trying to drop off four-year Democratic congressman Lois Frankel for District 21 of Florida
The chances of Loomer are small, because in the 2016 congressional election, Lois Frankel, 71, won 63 percent against her Republican opponent and ran unchallenged in 2018
Loomer himself is a polarizing personality that carries the kind of luggage that would make many local voters squirm.
Like the time she called Islam a cancer in society.
Or when Lyft and Uber stopped their accounts after going on a rush about needing a “non-Muslim” ride sharing service.
Or like the time she was arrested in Central Park in New York City after storming the stage during a Shakespeare show in Julius Caesar of the Park, when the Roman Emperor in the play found out that Trump was being murdered.
Yet some of those who have rejected her as little more than a provocateur are reconsidering their chances of becoming an American representative.
Just over six months after announcing her candidacy for the US Congress, Loomer has managed to raise nearly $ 400,000 in contributions from more than 7,000 donors who donate an average of $ 56 – a performance unrivaled by many experienced politicians, let alone one as young as Loomer.
Loot has put Loomer far ahead in fundraising between the eight Republicans who are fighting for the party’s nomination in August. And none of them can compete with Loomer’s name recognition and internet tracking.
If she makes it, Loomer faces four-year congresswoman Lois Frankel in the November general election. In the 2016 congressional election, Frankel, 71, won 63 percent against her Republican opponent and in 2018, she ran uncontested.
“I will be the congresswoman of everyone,” Loomer says when asked about the reasons for her fundraising, “and I will represent people from all walks of life and political beliefs, unlike Lois, who does absolutely nothing for anyone who is not part of her base. People are fed up with her.
“I call her Lazy Lois. She is politically lazy and fat. “
Frankel’s campaign responded with a statement that read: “Rep. Frankel is focused on serving her voters and not on disrespectful calling. “
The campaign did not address the lack of fundraising.
If she wins, the conservative and controversial personality at the age of 26 becomes the youngest member in the history of Congress
Loomer has been banned from various social media platforms for promoting speech labeled as hate speech aimed at Muslims and posted for this photo with Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle
Loomer is a polarizing personality and took this photo with self-proclaimed “dirty trickster” and one of the most notorious Republican insiders Roger Stone
Frankel’s campaign reports are nevertheless thick. And even if Loomer has surpassed her two-on-one in the last two quarters of 2019, Frankel is on a $ 1.1 million war chest thanks to earlier campaigns in which she ran unhindered.
As if to prove her inclusiveness, Loomer held her recent campaign kick-off in a restaurant in nearby Boca Raton, owned by a Muslim woman who emigrated from Pakistan.
“I heard about Laura through a Republican friend who said Laura wanted a kick-off here,” said Naheed Khan, 63, owner of dinner The Griddle and a fervent proponent of Trump. “First I wondered why she did some things she did. I am a practicing Muslim, so I wanted no doubt. “
Khan said that she and Farha Khan, her pediatric daughter, invited Loomer to an interview and, Naheed says, discovered that Loomer was not really the way she was made.
“She is anti-radicalism,” Khan said, “not anti-Muslim. Some of the things she does may be cringe worth, but many of the things we all do are cringe worth. So I told her she could have her kick-off party here. “
Loomer said: ‘I think Naheed recognized that I am a hunter, just like her. We don’t agree on everything, but her loyalty lies with the United States and she agrees that people who emigrate here should assimilate and embrace American values. “
Laura Loomer erupted in the conservative stage in 2015 when she, a Jew, was a student at Barry University, a Catholic university run by nuns near Miami.
Loomer, one of the few Republican students in an overwhelmingly liberal school, participated in a ‘gotcha’ video at the insistence of Project Veritas, a right-wing group that uses hidden cameras to expose what it sees as liberal bias in colleges, not – profit and government.

Loomer is embarrassed because he calls Islam a cancer in society, is arrested for storming the stage during a Shakespeare show in protest and camping on the lawn of speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
Loomer secretly recorded her meeting with school officials at a meeting where she asked permission to set up a new club called Sympathetic Students to Support the Islamic State.
The images seemed to indicate that school officials were in favor of setting up such a club on campus, but seemed to suggest that she dropped the “Islamic State.”
The images became viral and school officials shocked Loomer for what they saw as her attempt to embarrass the school.
The story immediately made Loomer a celebrity in the cyber world of Alt-Right, but it also launched her anti-Muslim reputation.
“I am not an anti-Muslim,” she said, “I study Islamic terrorism.”
With video cameras in tow and a huge distribution network online, Loomer continued with higher profile gimmicks to expose what she saw as the corruption of the left. In the summer of 2017, she and other conservative activists stopped the Shakespeare play in Central Park.
In January 2019 she was back in the news when she got three alleged illegal immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala to pitch their tents on the lawn of the Napa Valley house of Speaker of the House Pelosi in her home state of California.
Over time, Loomer and her crew were kicked off the Pelosi lawn by the police and Loomer was warned about entering the site.

Loomer says that her political attitude is similar to that of President Donald Trump. She is for immigration control, a strong soldier and assistant for Israel, and against socialism
Loomer has also been at war with regular social media platforms.
On a November morning in 2018 in Manhattan, she chained herself at the door of the local Twitter headquarters to protest against her exile from social media for hate speech.
In the beginning, Loomer was worried that the movements of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others would make it impossible for her to earn a living and increase campaign contributions.
Now Loomer proudly describes herself as the world’s most censored woman, and she has managed to find other ways to pursue her political agenda and fundraising outside of PayPal.
For example, she is active on Parler, where she has 89,000 followers, and Gab, where she has 27,000. Both are conservative platforms that allow a broader definition of freedom of expression and are sometimes accused of providing refuge for white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
Regarding her campaign money, most donations come through her campaign website, lauraloomerforcongress.com, mostly from a national base, people who often live thousands of miles from West Palm Beach.
“I won’t bow to the radical left,” Loomer said about her efforts to do without social media. “There is a lack of tolerance for the other side and a reluctance to tolerate the freedom of expression of people with a different opinion.
“I’m running because we have to fix that.”
According to design, Loomer reflects her political attitude as that of Trump. She is for immigration control, a strong soldier and assistant for Israel, and against socialism.
Florida’s District 21 is Trump’s Mar-a-Lago district, but it remains overwhelmingly democratic
“I call her Lazy Lois. She is politically lazy and fat, “says Loomer about her opponent Frankel
Sid Dinerstein, a former President of the Palm Beach County Republicans, believes that Loomer can be dragged into the office on a “red wave” with dozens of new Republican congress candidates alongside Trump.
“I always thought we would never get this neighborhood,” Dinerstein said. “But the demographics are changing. The core constituents of Lois Frankel are older Jewish residents. They die and are replaced by younger Hispanics. Guess? Laura Loomer speaks Spanish and she is in the community every day. She is not afraid and has money. She’s going to do well. “
Although she will have it for everyone when it comes to politics, Loomer is a lot less outspoken about her private life.
Some say she has no life outside of politics.
The website of her campaign contains no personal notes and photos with pets or babies.
She has no significant other, she says, and no visible hobby.
She currently lives in an apartment on the beach on the south side of Palm Beach.
A campaigner from the Democratic Party who asked not to be mentioned said that Frankel, a former mayor of West Palm Beach and a long-time member of the state legislator, could in no way lose her seat to Loomer.
“The demographics in that district show that there is no reason to believe that Lois can lose,” the source said. “Lois is rising in the ranks and this is Trump’s home district, there is no way the party allows this chair to go.
“In addition, a Republican would have to raise at least $ 3 million to win this race, and that won’t happen.”
