Today show viewers have expressed concern about reporter Mia Glover after she appeared on the breakfast show with a “droopy” eye and swollen cheek on Wednesday morning.
The Channel Nine reporter and weekend news presenter, 34, was on the show to report on a whale sighting off Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Concerns were raised when the whale was seen swimming close to shore and from inside shark nets, with surfers swimming in to check on the animal.
But viewers were more worried about Mia, whose left eye appeared droopy while her cheek appeared red and swollen.
‘Is Mia’s left eye okay? It seems fallen. Just checking to see if he’s okay,” one viewer wrote on Facebook.
