Cody Simpson has revealed that he has undergone a big change since meeting his Olympic girlfriend Emma McKeon.
The swimming star, 27, told Richard Wilkins on his The Apple and the Tree podcast that he has been “happier than ever” since he started dating Emma in 2022.
‘She is one of the greatest. I learn from her example, having that mutual understanding at home and in training is special,” she stated.
“We met swimming, so it’s nice to be able to do it together.”
Cody’s sister Alli, 26, added that McKeon’s cheerful personality had made her quickly accepted by the wider Simpson family.

Cody and Emma went ‘Instagram official’ with their relationship in July 2022, three months after they secretly began dating.
Last year, the couple celebrated by purchasing their first home together.
The couple spent $1.826 million on a family-sized love nest on the Gold Coast, proving their headline-making romance that blossomed during training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games has gotten pretty serious.
In November, Cody’s family hinted that wedding bells could be in the cards for the pop star and his golden girl.
It seems like it’s only a matter of time before the couple jumps into marriage, if proud mother Angie and sister Alli have anything to do with it.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Alli and Angie said they hope for a future engagement and that they adore the Olympic swimmer.
‘We love Emma. “The three of us went to the movies the other day and when Cody was working, we thought, ‘We’re stealing Emma,'” Alli said.
‘She just shines and makes Cody really happy. He’s the most at peace I’ve ever seen Cody.’
