A cleaning expert has revealed the ultimate secret to a sparkling clean tub.
Carolina McCauley, from Perth, always uses baby oil to polish her stainless steel sink after sanitizing the area with soap.
Baby oil will effectively remove streaks from shiny surfaces such as porcelain and stainless steel.
Simply apply a few drops to a microfiber cloth and scrub your sink clean in circular motions.
You can also use baby oil to remove grease from sinks and cookware, water spots on showers and faucets, and stubborn marks on toilet bowls.

Mom always uses baby oil to polish the kitchen sink after she cleans the area.
“If you want your sink to shine, use a little baby oil,” she advised.
Pour a small amount onto a cloth and cover all surfaces.
Make sure not to overdo it as you can always add more later, but too much in the beginning can lead to fat gain.
“I just keep buffing until it starts to sparkle,” she said.
Baby oil is truly a versatile item.
While many people use baking powder and vinegar as a natural way to clean their kitchen, another clever mom shared the unusual trick that transformed her sink and kettle.
Posting pictures to an Australian group on Facebook, Amelita said she used regular baby oil to clean household appliances after spotting a recommendation online.
“To whoever suggested using baby oil to make your kitchen sink shiny again and to get rid of streak marks…you are amazing,” she wrote.
“I should have taken pictures before but here are the results anyway… I even tried it on the kettle!”

A woman wrote on Facebook: “To anyone who suggested using baby oil to make your kitchen sink shiny again and get rid of streak marks…you are amazing”
The two photos demonstrated how well baby oil makes products bright and shiny as if they were new — without any of the greasy feeling.
Amelita said in the comments that she simply applied baby oil and then wiped it off with minimal effort.
The impressive results quickly impressed others and garnered over 900 likes online.

I totally do this! One woman said what a great idea.
“I was told to do this with my oven and fridge (stainless steel) too, works amazing!” said another.
“I use it on my steel stove, too!” A third added, and a fourth said, “The camphor oil is also great and the scent is nice too—it kills germs as a bonus.”
Another woman who saw the post on Facebook tried the cleaning trick herself and shared before-and-after photos.
“Wow, you just did it with the only oil I had!” she said, revealing that she used Palmer’s Coconut Oil Body Oil.
