For just £900, a lot of Sally’s belongings were sold on April 17, according to the publication.

His prized possessions, which were reportedly sold, included publicity photographs of Sally, a personal diary and scripts for some of his other films.

Sally, who played Phyllis in the 1970s soap alongside Jenny Arguter, told the publication: “No one has attempted to contact me regarding this sale and I am devastated because it is a huge part of my story that cannot be replaced.

‘As far as I knew, they were in a suitcase full of memorabilia and memorabilia from my career. Obviously I don’t review its content regularly.’

Sally allegedly threatened to take the auction bid to the police.

The Mirror reported that Nesbits “completely refutes” allegations of irregularities in the sale.

Nesbits allegedly said the items were from a home owned by one of Sally’s ex-husbands, which the seller of the goods purchased in 1978.

Cameron said they are “currently considering the matter with the assistance of legal advisors” given the allegations that have been made.
