Chris Cuomo admitted he kept his vote in the family on Election Day, writing to his brother Andrew instead of voting for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

The NewsNation host confessed, “I probably shouldn’t tell you,” but relented when asked by podcaster Patrick Bet-David.

‘I voted for my brother. I wrote to him. I’ll show you the photo,” he said, as Bet-David credulously asked him again and again.

Cuomo’s brother Andrew is the now disgraced governor of New York who was forced to resign in 2021.

Bet-David tried to corner the younger Cuomo on why he wrote in his brother instead of Harris.

‘My feeling is this: the United States can do better than these two candidates. I’m not a Trump fan and I’m not a Democrat. I think this country can do better.

He then spoke out about what he considered unfair treatment of Trump’s MAGA fan base, despite not voting for the Republican.

“I think the movement behind Trump is very real, he has not been respected and I think that is problematic for the United States.”

‘I have no problem with people who see it as a problem and want someone else, I understand that. For me, I just think the options are below the standard of American leadership. I think we have much better people to choose from.

The host asked if Andrew Cuomo knew how his brother voted and Chris confirmed that he did.

‘He was just like…yeah. That’s what it says about most things. He had other things he wanted to talk about.

While he is considered a generally liberal talk show host on CNN, Cuomo has moved closer to the center since joining NewsNation.

He had harsh words about Democratic hypocrisy toward Harris, whom liberals had begun treating as a “black Jesus woman.”

The NewsNation host spoke out against Democrats’ idolization of the nominee on his podcast.

He complained that liberals “didn’t even like him six months ago.” Now, suddenly, she’s the black Jesus woman in the same way (Barack Obama) was the black Jesus.’

Cuomo then disparaged Harris in comparison to the former president, saying he has “a lot more going for him” than she does.

‘He was imbued with things that she is not. And I don’t mean that as a criticism. It’s just a point of comparison,’ he said.

The former CNN host then talked about how Harris became the nominee after Biden withdrew.

And her process screwed her up too. There’s a convenience to it, but it also screwed up because there’s a lot of doubt about it. “There’s an underlying feeling that she didn’t understand this the right way, she may not have won a primary,” he said.

He then admonished liberals for refusing to criticize Harris because they fear it would throw the election to Trump.

‘I don’t believe in that, and that’s not how you get to a better place. It is a relative assessment. It has negative aspects. Him too. Do you have more? Yes. He also has a much more intense following. “That’s why this race is so close,” he said.

He then claimed that liberals “want to brand half of this country as intolerant” to explain why the race is so close.

‘Maybe you’re not as right about everything as you think. Maybe you should be a little more open to people you disagree with. “Maybe not all of them are racist,” he said.
