Russian missiles have hit a children’s hospital in kyiv and killed at least three people elsewhere in the Ukrainian capital, officials said.

Another Russian attack in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih is said to have killed at least 10 people.

This is the largest bombing raid against kyiv in recent months.

The daylight attacks included Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, one of Russia’s most advanced weapons, the Ukrainian air force said.

The Kinzhal flies at ten times the speed of sound, making it difficult to intercept. Buildings in the city shook from the explosions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had attacked five cities with more than 40 missiles of different types in a “genocidal” attack.

The attack took place at the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in kyiv, the largest children’s medical centre in Ukraine. There was no immediate information on casualties.

Other cities, notably Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slovyansk and Krematorsk, were also hit by the brutal forces of dictator Vladimir Putin, which clearly affected civilians.

In Zelensky’s hometown of Kryvyi Rih, ten people were reported dead and 31 injured.

The president had left for a visit to Poland.

“More than 40 missiles of various types,” he said.

“Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children’s hospital were damaged.”

“Attack on Ukraine at a time when there are the most people on the streets. These are crazy Russian terrorists,” Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, wrote.

‘They hit the towns, where there were a lot of people. They attacked the children’s hospital. There were children there. It’s a terror that the world must see and respond to.

“This is genocide,” he added.

One of the targets appeared to be an unfinished shopping center near the Lukyanovskaya metro station in central kyiv.

In Krematorsk, Russian armed forces attacked a machine-building factory, sending a plume of smoke rising from the factory.

In Kryvyi Rih, the administrative building of an industrial enterprise was attacked.

In kyiv, the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital, famous throughout Europe for its excellence, was attacked.

The hospital’s director, Volodymyr Zhovnir, said a missile had hit one of its buildings.

They are organizing the evacuation and relocation of all people who are in the area.
