& # 39; I woke up and heard screams & # 39 ;: the child feared being killed in the house fire in the morning when two other children were rushed to the hospital

At least one child is feared dead and two others have fled to the hospital because a suburban home is being used.

Firefighters rushed to the fire at Brittliffe Close in Singleton, in the NSW Hunter Valley, around 3:30 AM on Wednesday.

Neighbors heard screams in the middle of the night from the house where four children lived with their parents.

The police first came on the scene and tried to search the house for trapped family members, but the flames were too intense.

Firefighters soon arrived and rescued four people and brought them to Singleton Hospital, but there were two that were not mentioned.

It is believed that the fire started in the front room of the red brick house and investigations are ongoing.

More to come.
