Cher harshly criticizes Britney Spears’ ongoing struggle for conservatories

Cher once again weighs in on Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship that has taken place in court since its inception 12 years ago.

And as she’s done several times before, the 74-year-old legendary entertainer doesn’t hold back with her harsh criticism of people who she believes are taking advantage of the Toxic star’s mental health concerns.

Cher is one of many celebrities and fans who have voiced their support for Spears’ autonomy, which has merged into the growing # FreeBritney movement.

Criticism: Cher accused people of using Britney Spears in a tweet as a ‘money cow’

“She worked hard, was the golden goose, made a lot of dollars, got sick, now she’s the CASH COW,” Cher began with clear emotion in her words.

She then wondered if the people involved in her conservatorship, finances and mental health recovery want the best for her.

‘Does someone who deserves to be sick want her well !? Anyone who doesn’t want anything from her should check with her doctor and her medications. ‘

She ended the tweet with three one-demojis and asks, “… Is It a Duck !?”

A slew of fans and followers jumped into the conversation on Twitter, most of them supporting Cher and her criticism of Spears’s ongoing drama.

‘Money makes people do terrible things. Even those they think they love, ”one person wrote.

Someone else begged Cher to join in right away by asking, “Can you help her?” Please say yes! ‘

And another person agreed with Cher, using her hugely successful Las Vegas residency as an example of why she should be free from conservatorship.

“She worked here in Las Vegas, show after show. If she can work day after day, she can run her own affairs, ‘the man wrote before adding,’ It is sad that they are taking advantage of her and the court should help free her from these greedy relatives. ‘

Basically, Spears’s money, health, and daily routine have been overseen by her father, Jamie Spears, since she was involuntarily psychiatric detained in 2008.

Last week it was revealed that the conservatory will now be in place until at least February 2021, after the singer’s legal team failed to relieve her father, 68, of control of her business and personal affairs.

There was also a report that her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears had been appointed a trustee of the trust protecting the superstar’s vast fortune in 2018.

Cher has previously expressed concern for Spears on social media on a number of occasions, asking questions why she was allowed to work when she is considered legally unfit to manage her own finances.

“Why work for a woman when she is known not to be good enough to take care of herself?” Cher asked in January.

The same day she tweeted the LAMag article about the ‘Battle for Britney Spears’.

“Just enough medicine to keep her working, but not enough to live a life,” she wrote in capital letters in another harsh criticism of those responsible for caring for the pop superstar.
