Chelsea ‘equals PSG’s £56m bid for Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi’ and is ‘willing to take on Andreas Christensen AND Emerson Palmieri’ to become the full defender as Serie A giants try to balance their books this summer bring
- Chelsea reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi
- Low-money Inter want at least £70m for the attacking fullback
- Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea are preparing a player-plus-cash swap deal
- The Blues offer Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen for Hakimi
- PSG and Arsenal are also interested in signing the Moroccan international
Chelsea have reportedly matched PSG’s £56m bid for Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi and could be willing to offer two players to seal the deal for the Moroccan.
The cash-strapped Serie A champions are looking to cash back before considering reinvestment this year and are only considering £70million offers for the right-back in the north.
Hakimi’s stellar title-winning season has captured the attention of several European giants and Chelsea are eager to beat Arsenal and PSG.

With PSG already in talks for the full defender, reports in Italy suggest Chelsea have matched them in the bidding war and could be ready to overwhelm them by offering two players to sweeten the deal.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Blues are willing to offer both Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen to the Serie A champions in the hopes that the defending duo will cover the gap left by Hakimi on the right side of the defense.
Sky Sports Italy claim Inter prefer Chelsea’s proposal due to the club’s interest in the defending duo.

The report goes on to say that Inter would like to have Palmieri on loan, while Chelsea would like to keep the full back.
It remains to be seen whether Inter would accept such an offer or if they would rather receive immediate compensation to pay off their mounting debts. Sky Sports Italia also claims that their current £56m bid is also well below Inter’s asking price.
Hakimi has impressed at the San Siro this season after helping the Nerazzurri win Serie A for the first time in 11 years.
After coming in for £40 million from Real Madrid at the start of the season, the 22-year-old missed just one league game under Antonio Conte to help clinch the title.
Hakimi has been linked with a £50m move to PSG, especially in the wake of Conte’s sacking following a dispute over the potential sale of Inter stars this summer.

But according to Transfermarkt via Football Italia, his agent Alejandro Camano has destroyed the reports of a transfer for the Morocco international.
“He is the best player in Europe in his position. That’s why there are so many rumors about him,” Camano said. “Hakimi has a four-year contract with Inter and I want to make it clear that I have not spoken to any other club.”
Despite Camano’s reassuring words to Inter supporters, last summer he had outplayed Hakimi’s left who joined Inter before signing for the Milan outfit two weeks later.
