The report claims that Gomes has turned down a new deal worth £ 30,000 a week, and while United still hopes to tie him to a new contract, the player himself wants first-team football guarantees.
However, Frank Lampard would like to take him to West London as a strong supporter of promoting youth, such as Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori and Reece James have all benefited from his philosophy.
The news comes next Sports email revealed that Old Trafford bosses set themselves next week’s deadline to fix the youngster’s future.
The midfielder, who debuted in the first team at the age of 16 and was the young player of the year in 2018, has sparked interest in a number of foreign clubs, including Barcelona, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal would also monitor the situation, although Gomes would compensate considerably more if he moved to an English team.
Gomes captained England under the age of 19 for the 2018 World Cup success and only last month he suggested staying with United and winning trophies.
“I’ve seen it over the years from the academy and my entire career at United,” he said during a Google Hangout on the club’s official website.
“That’s what I want to do: win trophies for the club.”
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United continue to hopefully convince Gomes to stay with the club
