Charlotte Dawson has pleaded with her fans to “be kind” after announcing she is expecting her third child with fiancé Matthew Sarsfield, just weeks after their relationship was rocked by a sexting scandal.
The reality star, 31, has been with the rugby player, 32, for eight years but was left hurt and humiliated after discovering two weeks ago that he had sent intimate text messages to another woman.
But on Saturday, she revealed she is pregnant with her “surprise” third child, having welcomed sons Noah, three, and Jude, one.
Charlotte revealed her pregnancy to OK! Magazineand said that Matthew has begged her to give their relationship another chance.
She explained that she wants to do “what’s best for my kids” but was still unsure about giving Matthew another chance and admitted she hoped the new baby could “make him a better man.”

Later on Saturday night, the TV personality thanked her fans for their support but revealed she had also received a number of “nasty” messages.
The mother of two said she was going through an “extremely difficult” first trimester and was trying to “stay calm” for the sake of her unborn child.
Charlotte confessed that while she felt “blessed” to have another baby, the timing of her pregnancy and the heartbreak meant it was “the worst time of my life”.
She wrote: ‘Thank you for all the support, lovely comments and messages! I’m overwhelmed and will try to respond to you all but just to let you know I love you all and am so grateful for you all.
‘For the naysayers, remember I’ve had to deal with all of this while in my first trimester, which has been extremely difficult, what was supposed to be the happiest time of my life has been the worst time of my life.
“But every baby is a blessing and I feel very blessed right now. I’m trying to stay calm as much as I can and take care of this baby.”
Begging her followers to keep negative comments to themselves, she insisted that decisions about her relationship were hers to make, noting that “it’s my life, not yours.”
And she concluded: ‘Please be kind, if you have nothing nice to say, please don’t say it. Also, what I decide to do has nothing to do with anyone else, it’s my life, not yours.
She explained that she wants to do “what’s best for my kids” but was still unsure about giving Matthew another chance, admitting she hoped the new baby could “make him a better man.”

“I appreciate all your advice and support, but some people get too involved and nasty. It’s not necessary.”

In her pregnancy announcement, Charlotte said: “It’s been a crazy time… horrible, having to deal with the pain, the suffering and being pregnant as well.”
“Noah asked me where daddy was and I don’t want a broken home. I want to do the best for my children.
‘Matthew says he’s going to give everything he has to make this work, but I haven’t made a decision yet about the future of our engagement. He needs to change.
“It would be great to have a girl, even for Matthew. I think having a girl will make him a better man, but we’ll see.”

She said she sat there shaking, unable to reach her mother and sister on the phone, while her manager called Matthew to tell him the news.
She recalls: “He called me and said, ‘Please talk to me. ’ I said, ‘I’m done. ’ He said he was drunk and begging me not to leave him.”
Charlotte revealed that Matthew had met the blonde woman through rugby, as he played on the team with his ex, and they messaged each other on Instagram.
She said: ‘I saw the message that they are not nice, it really hurt me.’
The mother of two admitted that their relationship has been strained for the past two years.
She said: “We haven’t had a good relationship these past two years, but that’s no excuse. The kids came in the middle of the relationship. It hasn’t been good for a while. It’s hard to get that intimate time that’s been so important.”
Charlotte revealed that Matthew had met the blonde woman through rugby, as he played in the team with his ex, and they messaged each other on Instagram. She said: “I saw the message that they’re not nice, it really hurt me.”
Charlotte said she sometimes refused to have sex because she was exhausted from raising her two young children, but added that the lack of intimacy between them was “no excuse” for her actions.
Days after the scandal broke, it was her son Jude’s first birthday and Charlotte made the heartbreaking decision to tell Matthew to stay away.
“It was horrible, it was horrible,” she said. “I’m not going to cancel his birthday party. I just told him, ‘I don’t think you should come to his birthday.’ Obviously, he made the decision not to come, too.”
Matthew then moved back into his parents’ house and begged Charlotte to take him back.
She said: ‘He’s completely devastated. He doesn’t even seem like himself. He’s very upset, but that’s how it has to be. He’s hurt his family. The question is whether I can forgive and forget.’
‘I need to tune out all the background noise. I don’t want this to affect Noah at daycare. He keeps saying, “When is Daddy coming home?”
The reality star said she hasn’t made a decision yet on whether to forgive Matthew and give their relationship another chance.
“He literally ripped my heart out and stomped on it. He tries to make amends every day.”
Charlotte added: “The last two weeks have been really, really tough. It’s a massive shock because I never expected him to do this. I thought we were a little family unit.”
The reality star said she hasn’t made up her mind yet on whether to forgive Matthew and give their relationship another chance.
She said through tears: “I feel like he doesn’t love me, I go crazy when I think about it. I still love him, but I don’t know where my head is at.”
