A source explained that the show only films for a limited period of time each year and the stars are forced to negotiate brand deals when they are not filming.
The source claimed the cast is expecting a pay raise for next season after initially signing on for a “very small fee.”
They would also like their contracts to include “longer travel time, better travel expenses and first class flights.”
The lawsuits come after the show was nominated for Best Lifestyle Programme at the 2024 Logie Awards.
Travel Guides will compete against Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens, ABC’s Gardening Australia and Foxtel’s Love It Or List It Australia.

The episode saw the cast escape to the Cook Islands in the South Pacific.
The show features Australian travel critics including Kevin and Janetta, the Fren family and Doris, Kev and Teng.
