The widow of radio personality Casey Kasem was reportedly attacked by her manager, who became furious because she gave money to her daughter.
The incident with Jean Kasem (65) and her business manager John Gressy took place at her home in Los Angeles at 10 a.m. last Friday.
Gressy was reportedly furious because Jean gave money to Liberty, 29, told her daughter with Casey, sources of law enforcement TMZ.
The outlet reported that Gressy threw plates and a vase at Jean. She was reported to have been hit at least once and was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

It was reported that he threatened to murder Jean, her lawyer and Liberty, who was present at the time of the incident, and called 911.
The police arrived later and arrested Gressy and he is charged with criminal threats. Allegedly he had locked himself in a room before the police arrived.
The case has yet to be referred to the L.A. County District Attorney. In an update on Tuesday afternoon TMZ reported that Jean had filed a temporary restraining order against Gressy.

Gig Harbor Police Chief Kelly Busey said the administrative investigation found no evidence of a crime.
They also discovered that Casey received appropriate care and that all medical decisions were made by family authorized to act on his behalf, Busey said.

There was also no evidence of collusion between family members and doctors that any part of this incident would be considered a murder, the department said in a statement.
The two daughters of Kasem told KOMO that they feel justified by the findings of the police at the time of the announcement.
