Choosing the right thing Choosing an action camera used to be simple: go for a GoPro. That’s still good advice, as the GoPro is high on our list and our first choice for most adventure-loving photographers, but we’ve finally found some worthy competitors.
To find out which cameras are the best, we went underwater with them, climbed with them, surfed with them, and handed them to 11-year-olds riding bikes. We found several great options that will record and survive your adventures on the ski slope, beach, or skate park.
