Meanwhile, jury president and director Greta, 40, flashed a peace sign as she posed for a selfie.
She looked stunning in a purple sequin dress with a daring thigh slit and accessorized with silver earrings.
Meanwhile, Lily turned heads in an equally stunning dark blue dress and wore her brunette tresses in loose waves.

Tuesday night was all about Léa Seydoux, as her latest film had the honor of opening the 77th Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera.
The actress, who stars in new release The Second Act (Le Deuxième Acte), was supported by a host of stars as the worlds of film, music and fashion descended on the resort town for two weeks of carpet celebrations red.
Supermodel Heidi Klum, Léa’s French compatriot Eva Green, director Greta Gerwig and Oscar-winning Hollywood legend Meryl Streep were among those present to toast the film’s official release.
But it was Léa’s night and the actress stunned in a flowing silver sequin dress after joining the cast and crew of the new film on the red carpet.
She finished the look with a pair of matching silver heels, while a tasteful choker was her only notable accessory.
Elsewhere, adding a touch of old-school Hollywood glamor to the proceedings, Meryl Streep opted for a simple white evening dress on what turned out to be a special night for the Oscar-winning actress.
The ceremony began with the presentation of an honorary Palme d’Or to Meryl and the introduction of the jury chaired by Greta Gerwig, as the spectacular French Riviera spectacle kicked off a potentially volatile 77th edition.

The couple posed with Eve Green, who wore a strapless black dress with a puffy lilac skirt.
She smiled as the man took a selfie with her.
The trio of women seemed to be having a great time at the premiere as they posed together.
Greta showed a lot of leg in the red dress which she paired with pointy heels.

A stream of 10-day stars began to flow down the Cannes red carpet with the opening night film, The Second Act, a French comedy starring Lea, Vincent Lindon, Louis Garrel and Raphael Quenard.
They play bickering actors filming a movie directed by an artificial intelligence.
The festival’s first standing ovation, however, went to Meryl, who received an honorary Palme d’Or during Tuesday’s opening ceremony.
After being introduced by Juliette Binoche, the actress alternately shook her head, fanned herself and danced as the crowd applauded thunderously.
“I’m very grateful that you haven’t gotten tired of my face and haven’t gotten off the train,” she said, who shortly after declared Cannes with Juliette officially opened.
‘My mother, who is usually right about everything, said to me: ‘Meryl, dear, you’ll see. Everything goes very fast. Very fast,’ Meryl added.

The entire jury posed together for a group photo at the dazzling first premiere.
And so it is, and so it is. Except my speech, which is too long.
The reception was almost as enthusiastic for Gerwig, the first American filmmaker to serve as president of the Cannes jury that will decide the festival’s top prize, the Palme d’Or.
Thierry Fremaux, Cannes’ artistic director, praised her Monday as “the ideal director” for Cannes, given her work on arthouse and studio films and her interest in film history.
And Fremaux said, “We really liked Barbie.”
