A two-year-old boy is in hospital after falling two floors at an apartment block in Campbelltown (pictured) on Sunday afternoon.

A toddler was rushed to hospital after falling two stories from an apartment window and reportedly landing on a car.

The two-year-old boy reportedly fell nine meters from the window of a unit at the Hoddle Avenue apartment complex in Campbelltown, in Sydney’s southwest, about 4pm on Sunday.

Emergency services treated the boy in the complex’s courtyard before he was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital.

The child’s condition and the extent of his injuries are still unknown.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia the two-year-old boy fell two stories high.

Police investigations into the incident continue.

The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network has been contacted for comment.

Heartbreaking images from the scene showed two ambulances arriving at the complex before paramedics surrounded the injured boy.

A child could be heard crying uncontrollably as emergency services worked quickly to administer treatment.

Police officers were seen knocking on doors and talking to residents living in the apartment complex.

Other shocked residents watched the emergency from their balconies.

Paramedics and police officers surrounded the van to prevent people from entering the area while the boy received treatment in the back of the van.
