Cameron and Katherine co-founded Avaline in July 2020 with the goal of offering clean, organic, and vegan wines.
“My good friend Katherine Power and I were chatting over a glass of wine, and as the wine started to flow, so did our conversation about it,” the actress told Forbes At that moment, we thought, “Gosh, we love wine, what’s in it?”
“Can we actually drink this? How can we drink more of it? We started asking ourselves questions about our wine, which is crazy because I’d never done that before,” he added when asked why he created the brand.
Katherine’s response was: ‘We are pushing a lifestyle that includes everything clean and organic. It never occurred to us that wine wouldn’t fall into this category.
“We were shocked to learn about the ingredients that were added and the lack of transparency. The journey to learn more about the winemaking process and how to make a clean and delicious wine led us to create Avaline,” she said.

“Somehow the wine industry has managed to get away with not having to be transparent and reveal what’s in the bottle,” Katherine added.
“Many people may not care if animal by-products are used in winemaking, but we believe that consumers should be aware of that step so they can make that decision for themselves,” he concluded.
