A staggering 45 metropolitan Bunnings stores and 63 regional stores across all states and territories will offer the new service during the busy Christmas season.

Bunnings Warehouse and Uber Australia have joined forces to offer same-day delivery across Australia.

A staggering 45 metropolitan Bunnings stores and 63 regional stores across all states and territories will offer the new service during the busy Christmas season.

Customers who order online before 2pm will receive delivery by 7pm that day. But regional locations are limited to package-sized deliveries only.

Shoppers will have the opportunity to see which stores offer same-day package delivery through online checkout and the service will cost $15.

Deliveries are limited to a 15km radius from participating Bunnings stores.

The partnership comes at the perfect time as shoppers scramble to get their hands on last-minute Christmas gifts.

Bunnings chief operating officer Ryan Baker said Bunnings is committed to offering our customers the best experience, the widest range and the lowest prices.

‘Some customers value coming into the store to explore, talk to the team and enjoy the Bunnings experience, such as a coffee in the cafe or a sausage sizzle hosted by a local community group. But for others, the convenience of delivery is preferred,” Mr Baker said.

“This builds on our existing same-day parcel delivery offering across metropolitan Australia, providing further convenience to our regional customers and hopefully helping to alleviate some of the stress this time of year can bring,” he added.

Duncan Petit, managing director of Uber Direct ANZ, added: “We are helping Bunnings overcome the festive freeze on deliveries, allowing their busy regional customers the flexibility and convenience to shop until 2pm on December 23.”

“Bunnings offers affordable same-day package delivery to its customers through the Uber delivery network with a flat rate for all same-day deliveries made online.”

Bunnings has launched a new rechargeable neck fan and Australians have already called it “amazing”.

The purchase is perfect for those looking to stay cool, especially after the scorching heatwave that recently swept across southeastern Australia with temperatures soaring 15 degrees above average.

Shoppers also praised the product’s sleek design, which looks like a high-tech accessory that can dress up any outfit.

Many have given the purchase five-star reviews and praised it online.

“I’m perimenopausal and I’m on my way to Bunnings right now,” one woman said.

“Just ordered mine and can’t wait to wear it to work,” wrote another.

‘Great for traveling to and from work, especially on non-air-conditioned trains!’ a third revealed.
