A 38-year-old Bronx woman was found dead in bed, apparently beaten to death, police said Thursday.
An autopsy will determine the cause of Lisette Gomez’s death, but police believe she was struck in the face and neck and are treating her death as a homicide.
Detectives were questioning the victim’s boyfriend, but it’s not yet clear if police believe he is the killer.
Gomez’s body was found in her bed Wednesday by someone she knew, police said. Police received a 911 call at 12:43 p.m. and responded to his apartment on Cauldwell Ave. near Westchester Ave.
