Charlotte Maclennan, who set up a crowdfunding page to raise money for his funeral, said his mother and stepfather flew to Spain to repatriate the body. His father was said to be too upset to go.

She wrote on the page: & # 39; He was on vacation with a friend and had only been there two days.

& # 39; The friend had already gone home, but he was not ready to go and stayed. & # 39;

Mrs. Maclennan explained that Mr. Taylor's boyfriend had tried to call him, but the Spanish police responded. An English interpreter brought the news that he had died.

Mr. Taylor worked as a hairdresser for about two years at the family-run Taylor & Co in Loughborough.

Mrs. Maclennan said: & # 39; People loved him, so many people loved him.

& # 39; Because Scott's parents use every penny to get our Scotty home, there is no extra money for his funeral.

& # 39; Scott & # 39; s family will have to spend their savings to get him back and will not be able to afford to pay the funeral. That is why we have set up the GoFundMe page to give him the opportunity he deserves. & # 39;

& # 39; I spoke to the British embassy and they told me it should take no more than a week to get him home.

Friends also help raise money for mother Tina, stepfather John, father Julian and sisters Jodie, 27, and Kyla, 12, to have a last party in his honor.

Mrs. Maclennan said: & Scott loved a good party. So I ask all those who loved him to donate to give their son and brother and our dearest, most special friend the greatest missionary anyone has ever seen. & # 39;

Colleagues in the salon where he worked also announced that they were closing their doors to mourn Mr. Taylor's loss.
