The X-Files star, 56, was hailed as “chic, high caliber and sophisticated” by the outlet after they tried to hire her for their new adverts.

It comes after Gillian opened up about her ‘complex relationship’ with co-star David Duchovny on the Table Manners Podcast.

She claimed that she learned more about her X-Files co-star from his podcast than from working with him on set.

Gillian joined hosts Jessie and Lennie Ware to talk about her groundbreaking new book Want, her co-star David, 64, The Fall, Sex Education and what she ate on The X-Files.

Gillian said: ‘We’ve always had quite a complex relationship. You know, when you work so intensely with someone for so long.

‘I mean we were basically married to each other. I’ve listened to your podcast several times and I think it’s good and interesting.’

‘It’s interesting to hear a man talk so openly about emotional issues. “I feel like I’ve learned more about him from listening to his podcast than I have from working with him.”

The star also talked about her new book Want, where she collected anonymous sexual fantasies from women around the world.

Explaining her reasons for not including ages in her book launch, Gillian said: “That was an internal decision within Bloomsbury.”

“It was because they felt that fantasy is ageless and that in some ways maybe it would be more relatable to women if they were reading it and didn’t necessarily know it.”

She continued: “Sometimes it goes without saying, and what’s really interesting is that you read a fantasy and someone talks about never having kissed anyone and then reveals that they’re 70 years old.”

“Fantasy has no age.”

Describing her book, the actress added: ‘It is a very moving book. There is a lot of tenderness, compassion, sadness and a lot of joy.’

“There’s a lot of teasing, there’s a lot of cock, there’s a lot of orgasms… there’s some tentacles.”

Revealing that she would be interested in making a sequel, Gillian said: ‘I’d be interested to know if at the end of all this there would be a different question we would ask, or maybe it wouldn’t be about fantasies…’

“It could take us in another direction depending on how people respond or how successful it is.”

In addition to her book, Gillian also talked about whether The Fall would return for a fourth season.

The actress, who plays investigating officer Stella Gibson in the thriller series, revealed that the series did not “come to fruition.”

Explaining that they tried to film the series, Gillian said: “We tried season 4 for a while, but it didn’t work out.”

As well as starring in The Fall, Gillian also played the role of sex therapist Jean Milburn in the Netflix comedy-drama Sex Education, and previously admitted she banned her children from watching the show.
