The already slim LaPaglia reported on the platform in November that she had lost 15 pounds and was currently the same weight as she was when she was 15 years old.
The loss of her romantic relationship was compounded by her breakup with her best friend, Grace O’Malley, with whom she co-hosted the Plan Bri Uncut podcast.
In an appearance at best friends podcastLaPaglia claimed that O’Malley “never stood up for me” even though he was aware of the alleged emotional abuse he suffered at the hands of Bryan.
“She knew everything behind the scenes,” LaPaglia said. ‘When the internet started attacking me, they only picked up Grace when they were beating me. And it was like whatever, because it helped his career and he was fine and happy about it. But there came a point where she never defended me.
Explaining his internal turmoil on Friday, LaPaglia said, “It was a toxic, terrible, horrible situation.” I was mentally going through it so badly that I couldn’t eat and I turned into skin and bones.’
