Hayley Vernon vowed to homeschool her future children after seeing a viral video of an 11-year-old boy reading an explicit book she said she took from her high school library.
The Married At First Sight star, 36, shared the clip of the boy reading an excerpt from the book that recounts a sexual interaction between a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man.
‘What is this absolute filth? If I have kids, they’ll be homeschooled,” Hayley said alongside the clip she shared on her Instagram story.
“The world is a crazy place.”
The video of the boy reading the excerpt went viral last year when the 11-year-old made a statement at a school board meeting in Maine, United States.

The book presented at the meeting was Nick and Charlie, by bestselling British author Alice Oseman, 28, which tells the story of a high school relationship.
Her popular book, Heartstopper, which was recently made into a Netflix series, tells the story of the same couple who begin their relationship when they were 15 and 16 years old.
The boy read the book: “We kissed for a long time, like it was two years ago and we were on the couch in Nick’s living room trying to watch a movie.” Impossible.

The book is recommended by the publisher for students over 13 years old.
After the boy delivered the passage, his father, Adam Zajac, approached the lectern.
‘I am the father of that child. That’s my son, 11 years old, he went to his library and found him at the front door of our library. This is the smut he’s finding, okay? said the boy’s father.
‘I don’t care if he’s gay, straight, bisexual or whatever the term for all this is; It doesn’t have to be at our school. It doesn’t need to be in my 11-year-old son’s library.’
Hayley rose to fame in the seventh season of MAFS, which aired in 2020.

Hayley was referring to her anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) test and her ovarian reserve levels.
According to IVF Australia, ‘anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is a hormone secreted by cells in developing egg sacs (follicles). The level of AMH in a woman’s blood is generally a good indicator of her ovarian reserve.
The AMH test “gives us an idea of the number of eggs remaining and the number of fertile years you may have.”

‘Has anyone conceived or had egg retrieval when they were so low before? I feel like I’m hyperventilating. I have an appointment with Monash IVF so I’m going to do that…what am I going to do?
In January 2023, Hayley told The Wash that she hoped to have a child later that year.
“There are many women who do what I do in addition to maintaining strength within their families, but in my case, I am looking forward to reinventing myself in preparation for becoming a mother, so the first step is to stop physically seeing clients.” ,’ she said.
At the time, Hayley was on tour in Melbourne and said it would be her last trip as a companion before undergoing IVF with a donor.
“I’m at a point where I know if I don’t have kids in the next few years that ship will sail,” she said.
“So, with the help of a donation and IVF, this is a process that I will probably do this year and raise a child on my own.”
Hayley rose to fame on the seventh season of MAFS, which aired in 2020. She then became an escort and creator of OnlyFans, but recently left the adult entertainment industry and became sober.
