Enes Unal came off the bench to score his first Premier League goal in stoppage time as Bournemouth came back from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw at home to relegation-haunted Sheffield United.

Goals from Gustavo Hamer and captain Jack Robinson looked to have given the Blades just their second away win of the season.

However, goals from substitutes Dango Ouattara and Unal in the final 16 minutes gave the hosts a point in a vibrant match in Dorset.

The Cherries were awarded a penalty with just 14 minutes played after Tom Davies clumsily brought down Dominic Solanke.

Solanke stepped forward in search of his 15th Premier League goal of the season, but lost his balance just as he was about to tackle the ball and sent it over the bar with his left foot.

Enes Unal scored an injury-time equalizer for Bournemouth against Sheffield United to help them come back from 2-0 down against the Blades.

Gustavo Hamer had put the struggling Blades ahead after some tough defeats.

Bournemouth’s top scorer Dominic Solanke wasted an early penalty and missed the chance to put them ahead.

The Cherries were thwarted by an excellent 25th-minute save from Ivo Grbic, who deflected Antoine Semenyo’s low shot from the edge of the area.

The visitors took the lead two minutes later, thanks to Hamer’s fourth goal of the campaign.

Hamer released Jaydon Bogle on the right and when Neto deflected his initial shot, the former Coventry playmaker was on hand to fire the rebound into the roof of the Bournemouth net.

Croatian Grbic made another magnificent save to push a powerful close-range header from Ryan Christie’s cross into a corner.

In first-half stoppage time, Neto clumsily saved a header from Tom Davies, before McBurnie headed straight at the home goalkeeper from a corner.

And former Manchester City player Unal ensured Bournemouth walked away with a point by scoring in stoppage time.

Bournemouth started the second half on the front foot in search of an equalizer and Christie should have done better five minutes after the restart than to shoot after some good footwork from Marcus Tavernier had created the chance.

Neto had to be alert to deflect a cross shot from Oliver Arblaster, but it was the goalkeeper’s error from the resulting corner that helped United double their lead in the 64th minute.

Neto hit the corner off Solanke’s back, sending the ball kindly into the path of Robinson at the far post and the Blades captain fired inside the post, with the goal-calling system showing he had crossed the line before the Bournemouth goalkeeper scratched. far.

Bournemouth thought they were back in the game moments later but Solanke’s ill-fated close-range attempt was ruled out by a handball from the England international after a lengthy VAR review.

They pulled one goal back with 16 minutes remaining when Ouattara was left completely unmarked to head home Christie’s corner from four yards.

And after Ouattara missed a free header, Turkish international Unal fired in at the far post in the first minute of added time to break the Blades’ hearts and deny them two points.
