The bodies of the victims of the Bayesian yacht disaster, including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his daughter Hannah, have been flown back to their families from Sicily.
Seven people died when the Bayesian, a £30m superyacht owned by the founder of Darktrace, sank last month in just 16 minutes after being hit by a violent gust.
Mr Lynch, 59, and his 18-year-old daughter were killed along with Morgan Stanley International chairman Jonathan Bloomer and his wife Judith, New York lawyer Chris Morvillo and his partner Neda and chef Recaldo Thomas.
They have now been repatriated on private jets and their funerals are expected to be held in each of their home countries in the coming days. Italian media information.
Autopsies have been carried out on the victims in Sicily in recent days and preliminary results suggest all but one were trapped below deck when they died.

Autopsies on Morgan Stanley boss Jonathan Bloomer and his wife Judy reveal they “asphyxiated” in an air bubble and did not drown, according to reports
Fifteen of the 22 passengers and crew survived the sinking of the Bayesian last month by boarding an inflatable life raft.
Autopsies carried out on the victims at Palermo’s Policlinico hospital earlier this month revealed they had no water in their lungs, Italian media reported, raising fears they may have been conscious when the yacht sank.
Although their bodies have now returned home, doctors in Palermo are still investigating whether their deaths were caused by drowning or a lack of oxygen in the cabin.
All the victims of the disaster were passengers, except for the yacht’s chef, Recaldo Thomas.
His body, which was found in the sea near where the Bayesian sank, was the first to be recovered.
The other victims, apart from Hannah, who was found in her cabin, were in another room.
Italian media claimed last week that it was Hannah’s mother and Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, who went on deck to wake them and inform them the ship was about to sink.
The first autopsies were performed on attorney Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda (both pictured) and they were also found to have no water in their lungs in autopsies performed earlier this week.
Recaldo Thomas, head chef of the Bayesian, was the first person to be recovered after the sinking of the yacht
British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah were killed in the Bayesian tragedy when their superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily.
It is said that the violent storm woke her up and she went to the bridge, where she found several crew members.
Mrs. Bacares, who was barefoot, returned to the deck to warn the others, but cut her feet on a glass that had fallen to the floor.
As prosecutors investigate the deadly incident, it was revealed last week that a water rescue team had recovered crucial video surveillance equipment from the ship.
Six elite Italian Navy divers who made repeated trips to the wreck more than 160 feet below the water’s surface found computers and hard drives, a report said.

The electronic equipment will now be examined to see if any data can be extracted or if there is video footage showing how the yacht sank that could solve the mystery of why and how the boat sank last month.
Three crew members, including New Zealand captain James Cutfield, 51, British chief engineer Tim Parker Eaton, 59, and fellow countryman Matthew Griffiths, 22, are being investigated for causing a disaster and manslaughter.
However, this does not necessarily mean that charges will be brought, and it will be up to an investigating magistrate to decide whether a full trial will take place and that will be after the investigation is closed.
