Selena Gomez has teamed up with Sephora to donate proceeds from her Rare Beauty line for Mental Health Day.
The pop star’s company will partner with the brand to benefit the Rare Impact Fund on October 10, for the second year in a row.
Gomez, who was recently declared a billionaire, has spoken candidly about her own struggle with bipolar disorder since her diagnosis in 2018.
“The mental health crisis continues to disproportionately impact young people and partners like Sephora are instrumental in not only believing in this mission, but contributing crucial funds to expand mental health resources for young people who need them,” he stated.
The 32-year-old singer and actress founded the Rare Impact Fund with the goal of mobilizing $100 million for organizations to increase access to youth mental health services as well as education around the world.

It was recently revealed that Gomez, who founded the company in 2019, had achieved billionaire status through her cosmetics empire.

The company’s CEO, Scott Friedman, hopes Mental Health Day sales can grow compared to last year.

Meanwhile, Sephora CEO Guillaume Motte praised Gomez for how “committed” she is to the foundation she has created.
Motte said: “I thought, ‘We have an opportunity to do something bigger than the products, to give back to the community.’ We will partner to contribute to the Rare Impact Fund.
