A glamorous medical student was shot dead after taking part in a breast cancer charity walk.
Ellie Young, 22, was sitting inside her Jeep Wrangler after participating in breast cancer awareness walks at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tennessee, when her recently ex-boyfriend Jackson Hopper allegedly shot her multiple times on Saturday.
Witnesses said Hopper allegedly drove up behind their vehicle in a white Honda CRV with temporary Kentucky tags and fired two shots at their car, according to Action News 5.
“I was walking to my car and the young woman was getting into her jeep and a man came in a white car and shot her twice,” said witness Monica Bell. WREG.
Young then got out of her car and Hopper allegedly fired another bullet while she lay on the ground before fleeing the scene. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
