Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles has revealed the advice Jay-Z gave her after she appeared to like an Instagram post about the rape allegations against him.

Tina, 70, claimed her Instagram account was hacked after she appeared to like a post saying son-in-law Jay-Z was accused of gang-raping a 13-year-old girl with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Speaking Vogue’s The Run-Through podcast, Tina admits that she finds it difficult to ignore negative stories about her family and likes to fight back. But she often uses voice-to-text, which is why her southern accent is often misunderstood and the rapper asked for advice.

“My son-in-law Jay will say, ‘Listen, if you’re going to read to someone, at least spell your words right. Don’t misspell your words, Mom. You can’t do that. Take your time and go out there and spell check your stuff!”‘, Tina shared.

However, Tina responded with, “I don’t have time for that.”

Tina also said that Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, gave her own advice.

“Every now and then I get a call from Blue, and she says, ‘Grandma, what you just did is really nonsense. That’s really nonsense. You have to take that down.'” Tina said.

“I’m like, ‘Girl, I’m on to the next thing.’ And all the reactions are like, ‘There you go again, Miss Tina.'”

Tina told Vogue that she sometimes accidentally likes negative stories about her family on social media.

‘Because when I’m busy and I’m going through it, I’m like, “Oh, there’s Beyoncé with so-and-so.” I like that. And then the fans come back and say, “Ms. Tina, please delete that because you like a negative post.”

However, after her account liked the negative story about Jay-Z, Tina wrote, “I was hacked! As you all know, I don’t play about my family. So if you see anything unusual about me, just know it’s not me.”

Tina added in the caption, “Please stop playing with me!!!! “No weapon formed against my family will be successful.”

The post that liked her account was shared via @abc7Chicago and was captioned: “Breaking news: Jay-Z, Diddy named in lawsuit alleging rape of girl, 13.”

Jay-Z has denied the attack, which the victim said occurred at a VMA after-party in September 2000 while an unidentified female celebrity looked on.
