The presidential hopeful sat down with Cooper for a new episode in which they discussed multiple hot-button topics, including reproductive rights and the upcoming election.

Cooper later received criticism from fans for even doing the interview in the first place, and the podcast host was criticized for questioning ‘softball’ and making the show political.

However, it seems like he has at least one person on his side, and that’s Bethenny Frankel.

Frankel, 53, who met the star this summer and was even a guest on his Unwell tour, defended the star in a new video that was posted on her TikTok, telling fans to give Cooper “his flowers.”

The former Real Housewives of New York star explained that when she first met Cooper, she “instantly liked him.”

“She understands her audience and she’s connecting, and it’s not fake, she’s really grateful to be where she is,” Frankel said.

In addition to his podcast, Call Her Daddy, Cooper also owns and operates Unwell Network, which produces podcasts from influencers such as Alix Earle and Madeline Argy.

The Skinnygirl mogul then dove into what it was like to be around Cooper on her Unwell podcast tour, explaining that she’s made her rounds on all the talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen, and Jimmy Fallon.

Frankel recalled Cooper knocking on her dressing room door and saying the podcast host “came to play in a different way.”

“She came to play, she wanted to collaborate creatively, we were like riffing and bantering and just, bang, bang, bang, it was like having a kindred spirit,” he said of the 30-year-old.

The former Big Shot With Bethenny reality star added that she even met Cooper’s husband, and that Cooper met the people she was with, and that the whole experience was very “down to earth.”

But according to Frankel, the real magic happened when Cooper began his live show.

“I just want to say that, like I told her on stage, she’s the real deal and I want to give her flowers because she deserves them,” Frankel said.

“Then I watched her show and I saw her engage with her audience and the people she surrounded herself with, the kind of friends on the show,” Frankel said, naming guests such as Harry Jowsey and Megan Maroney.

She highlighted how wonderful the people on Cooper’s team were, as well as her husband, Matt Kaplan.

“I just want to say that, like I told her on stage, she’s the real deal and I want to give her flowers because she deserves them,” Frankel said.

The Mingle Mocktails entrepreneur even admitted that she liked the Cooper merchandise she sells on tour, so much so that she wants to wear it herself.

“I’m in, I liked it, and the fact that he wears sweatpants in any interview, that’s his brand, that’s what he’s doing,” Frankel shared.

“She’s not changing, she’s not talking, she’s not pandering and she’s 30 years old,” the star continued.

“I know she is a woman and could be a mother, but in this world, in this entertainment industry, in this cesspool, that is young and she gives her flowers.”

In the comments section of Frankel’s post, many users seemed to agree with his take on the embattled podcast star.

‘I think he’s excellent at interviewing his guests. She is one to watch,” one person wrote about Cooper.

Another agreed: “She’s killing it and I hate that other women are coming after her with the Kamala interview.” I applaud women who make difficult decisions.”

‘I’m part of the dad gang!! She is a boss and makes $$$$$$$. Your interview with Vice President Harris is incredible!’ someone else wrote.

Frankel’s video comes after she admitted that she didn’t feel like Harris “stuck the landing” on Cooper’s podcast.

He especially had a problem because of the timing of the podcast’s release, right after the deadly storm Hurricane Helene and before Hurricane Milton made landfall.

“I think the timing was risky, it’s not about political association or who you vote for, it’s about whether it’s a good marketing and messaging business decision at this time.” Frankel questioned.
