‘Upsetting but I won’t give up!’: Bebe Rexha responds to low sales for her second album Better Mistakes, saying her career was ‘built on failure’

Her latest album Better Mistakes came out earlier this month, but unfortunately seems to be suffering from what is known as the sophomore slump.

And Bebe Rexha immediately acknowledged her second album’s paltry debut, responding Monday to a Tweet announcing that she had been hit all the way down to # 140 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“Disturbing,” wrote the 31-year-old pop star. ‘But I’m not giving up. My career is built on failure and not by mold. ‘

Despite those buzzing collaborators and singles, including Baby, I’m Jealous, Sacrifice, Sabotage, and Die For A Man, the album has so far hit # 129 on Rolling Stone’s album chart.

Nonetheless, Rexha, born Bleta Rexha, is continuing a live streaming event for Better Mistakes later this week.

Also on Monday, she took to Instagram with a selfie from the album, counting down to the livestream with a note stating ‘only three days’ until the event.
