The BBC has been forced to apologise after a coach shouted an insult during live coverage of the decathlon.
Leo Neugebauer of Germany was left frustrated by his latest discus throw.
His coach, Jim Garnham, was furious and could be seen shouting: “Oh, f***!” during television coverage.
The insult was not heard live, but the BBC still felt it necessary to apologize.
One commenter said: “There goes the swearing. Sorry everyone! Hope there are no lip readers today.”

Neugebauer may have been frustrated by his effort, but he still managed to record the second best throw of the session with a distance of 53.33 metres, earning him 940 points.
Lindon Victor from Granada recorded the best throw with a distance of 53.91 metres.
Neugebauer managed to secure a silver medal by finishing second behind Markus Rooth of Norway, with Victor in third place.
