Bar hosts Saltburn-themed night – including bathtub in reference to THAT infamous scene, ‘Sex On The Grave’ cocktails and butler to welcome guests

A bar has given a nod to Saltburn’s strangest scenes by hosting a themed night dedicated to the film, complete with a bathtub, ‘Gin J**z’ cocktails and ostentatious costumes, referencing some of the most disturbing parts of the movie.

The £25-a-head party at The Raven in Bristol promised a “journey into decadence” for its guests, as revelers partied on Friday night.

The 2023 hit movie’s explicit bathroom scene was one of its biggest talking points, leaving some viewers “traumatized.”

In the scandalous sequence, Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), in love with his fellow student Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), secretly drinks his bathwater while draining from the bathtub.

The Raven’s ‘An Evening At Saltburn’ offered guests cocktails inspired by the bold moment and the chance to pose in their own version of the bathroom.

A bar has divided opinion by hosting a Saltburn themed night – complete with even that bathtub.

“It was a kaleidoscope: A midsummer night’s dream crossed with Saltburn’s grunge aesthetic,” said one partygoer.

“What impressed us the most was the burlesque dancer, who performed with fire.

‘Our favorite cocktail was the Bath Gin J**z – it tasted like sorbet and slightly salty.

“I also loved the quiet butler, who greeted guests upon arrival and handed out egg treats, a great reference to the movie in which Ollie (Barry Keoghan) asks for eggs.

“It was a great night; all I needed was Barry Keoghan.”

An Instagram ad for the Feb. 23 event also promised DJs, burlesque and other “roaring performers.”

Meanwhile, drinks on the cocktail menu included ‘Bath Gin J**z’, ‘Blood and Pants’ and ‘Sex on the Grave’, the latter referencing another controversial scene.

Many revelers wore Barry Keoghan-inspired deer antlers and extravagant outfits associated with the film’s rich party culture.

The theme night was based on the 2023 film, which burst into public consciousness over Christmas.

Many revelers wore Barry Keoghan-inspired deer antlers, used in key scenes of the film, to the party.

Saltburn was released theatrically in the UK on November 17 last year.

It was then streamed on Amazon on December 22.

The lauded film has since received several accolades, including two Golden Globe nominations.

Following the bath scene, several retailers have begun selling candles with the fragrance “Jacob Elordi bath water.”

Cruelty-free cosmetics retailer Lush went a step further by introducing its Saltbomb, a blend of mineral-rich coconut milk powder and coarse sea salt, while sharing fragrance with the brand’s moisturizing bubble bar, Milky Bath.

The company has gone to great lengths to promote this product, even making its models pose in a way reminiscent of Oliver.

The party outfits were inspired by the rich clothing of those living on the wealthy Saltburn estate.

Everyone made sure to wear their brightest and boldest outfits for the stunning one-of-a-kind party in Bristol.

The night was heavily inspired by references from the film, giving attendees their own flavor of Saltburn.

The cocktail menu and drinks were extra details added to pay homage to the film’s most notable scenes.

According to Lush’s website, customers should “put this little bit of paradise in their bath to create those silky, milky waters.”

“Enjoy, Saltbomb’s milky, salty bath water is fit for a majestic splurge,” the website description reads.

Lush’s limited edition Saltbomb (£5) is available online and via the Lush app, while stocks last.

Meanwhile, an ice cream retailer in the Lake District has also surprised its customers by launching ‘Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater’ flavour.
