A Queensland secondary school is under fire after a calendar full of explicit images from a staff photo shoot was leaked to the public.
The photographs showed staff at Balmoral State High School in Brisbane posing in compromising positions, with one teacher dressed as a nun and another in a shiny gold mankini with her legs spread.
The photographs were printed on a 2023 staff calendar that was displayed in the staff room, the mail reported.
A whistleblower raised concerns about the calendar after a staff complaint in December resulted in a denial of its existence.
The school is located in the inner Brisbane Bulimba electorate of state Education Minister Dianne Farmer.

Another photo shows a man in a gold mankini sitting at a desk with his legs spread.
One photo shows a teacher dressed in a gold mankini bending over on all fours, while a teacher dressed as a nun places one foot on the small of her back.
Another shows a teacher pouring a carton of milk on another teacher.
The leaked photos have sparked mixed reactions from the public, with some suggesting they cross a line, while others say they shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
“I don’t want to be a prude… they’re probably having a bit of fun,” Queensland senator Matt Canavan said on Today.
“It’s probably more embarrassing for them than for anyone else.”
Nine reporter Heidi Murphy said the “worst part” was the photos being leaked out of the staff room and put “on the national stage”.
A whistleblower told the Courier Mail the calendar is evidence of a toxic culture at the school.
The complainant also said the calendar was on desks in a staff room, where students could have seen it.
“It’s the lack of professionalism, it’s the fact that they’ve involved a nun and he’s dressed like a gay guy; it’s completely inappropriate… and totally unacceptable,” they said.
The Department of Education said it was “investigating the matter” but “does not comment on individual employee matters.”
The department spokesperson said it had “a responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of employee information.”
The Department for Education said the school said no students or their parents had been shown the calendar.
Balmoral State High School has been contacted for comment.
