This is the hilarious moment a woman was forced to chase her car down her driveway after the automatic handbrake didn’t work.
Vicky Lane, 23, just got home after a long day at work on January 2, but the moment she left her car, it started to back up.
The account manager was shocked and tried very hard to stop the car from rolling onto the road, almost knocking down a fence in the process.
Vicky, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, said: “I thought, do I run with it or jump on it?”
“The only thing that crossed my mind was that my father would scold me if I crashed again.”
Vicky Lane was getting out of her car after arriving home from a long day at work.
After getting out of the car, he suddenly noticed that it started rolling down the driveway because the parking brake was not on.
The 23-year-old makes a desperate attempt to get into the driver’s seat of her car.
Vicky tries to get into the car as it continues to roll down the driveway.
Luckily, Vicky managed to stop the car before it crashed straight into a wall at the end of the road and was thankfully unharmed by the events.
And he added: ‘I wasn’t hurt! Just my ego!’
Vicky also admitted that this had happened to her twice before. On one occasion it happened in the parking lot of a supermarket.
Vicky, from Hemel Hempstead, said: “I thought: I’ll run with him or jump on him!”

The 23-year-old finally manages to enter the vehicle and control it after a brief struggle.

The car finally stopped and soon returned to the driveway.
She continued: ‘This is the third time it’s happened.
“It happened once in a Tesco car park and blocked the entire entrance for 20 minutes.”
