Nicole broke down once again when her husband took the stage with a moving speech, saying she showed him “what love in action is really like” when his drug abuse issues surfaced after they married in 2006.
Looking at his wife sitting with their two daughters and family, the singer, 56, recalled: “Four months after our marriage, I’m in rehab for three months.
‘Nic overcame all the negative voices, I’m sure even some of his own, and chose love. And here we are, 18 years later,” which made Nicole wipe a tear from her face.
