Married At First Sight bride Eden Harper has revealed why she decided to expose Sara Mesa’s ‘secret affair’.
Last week, Eden accused Sara of secretly seeing an ex-boyfriend behind her TV husband Tim Caldwell.
Eden, 28, admitted speaking to Daily Mail Australia that while she was close to Sara at the start of the experiment, she quickly realized that their morals did not align.
She said she felt the need to do the right thing for Tim, Jayden and herself.
“I was definitely a friend of Sara’s and I knew I was going to lose that friendship, but there were three other things that I had to worry about at the time,” she explained.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Eden, 28, admitted that while she was close to Sara at the beginning of the experiment, she quickly realized their morals didn’t match.
“I was definitely friends with Sara and I knew I was going to lose that friendship, but there were three other things that I had to worry about at the time,” she explained
‘I personally feel that all three of these reasons are far more important than my relationship with Sara.’
The recruitment manager described the agonizing week leading up to her decision to reveal the affair.
“I don’t really know what to do,” she said.
Despite pressure from producers and her partner Jayden to reveal earlier, Eden said she needed time to process things.
‘I didn’t tell them. I didn’t tell Jayden. I really had to think about the way I wanted to do it, she said.

Motivated by Past Hurt
“I’ve been in Tim’s position before where my partner cheated on me and nobody told me,” she said.
‘It was really hard for me to do. ‘
Eden vehemently denied that her actions were motivated by a desire for more screen time.

“I actually felt like the production really supported me,” Eden said.
‘I didn’t do it because of the production. I didn’t do it for air time. I did it because it was wrong and it’s simply a matter of right and wrong,” she said.
As for Jayden, he is very emotional. He is reactive.’
Eden said the couple now do their best to remain civil for the sake of others.
“I definitely feel like I was trying to be polite to her and say hi and stuff at some of the upcoming dinner parties and you’ll see her ignore me,” she said.
According to Eden, Sara is now ignoring her.
“I actually felt like the production really supported me,” Eden said
